On August 15, 2016, we decided to celebrate the 70th anniversary of India’s Independence with a short video of senior citizens talking of their memories of home, of growing up in simpler times.

Take a look at our video Memories of Home, directed by Ansh Ranvir Vohra and enjoy this beautiful watch as Viji Venkatesh, 64, remembers heating up tiffin boxes on the hot tin roof of the school, Neela D’Souza, 83, recalls how she learnt to ice-skate in Shimla and K Satyamurthy, 79, remembers his days playing cricket.
